Notes:	GoRescue d/b/a Trio Safety CPR+AED 211 Summit Parkway Suite 100 Birmingham, AL 35209 We are located off West Oxmoor Road on Summit Parkway in the Crescent Centre. If exiting I-65, continue west on West Oxmoor Road and turn right at Hamburger Heaven. We are less than 200 yards up the hill on your right. We are located inside of the GoRescue Office Suite 100. You can park in any of the spaces.

This course is for those wanting to become and instructor and have a back ground in healthcare. Those without a healthcare background should register for Heartsaver Instructor.

The American Heart Association BLS Instructor Course certifies the participant to teach the BLS Course, renewal course, and BLS Skill Sessions. In addition, instructors may teach all the AHA Heartsaver programs including: adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, AED use, first aid, pediatric CPR/first aid, and bloodborne pathogens. BLS Instructor certification is valid for a period of two (2) years.

Course price includes the BLS Instructor Classroom course as well as monitoring of your first class as required by the AHA. Lunch during your class is also included in this price.

The classroom portion covers American Heart Association procedures, course guidelines and agendas, instructor challenges, classroom set-up, learning theory, administrative support, and instructo teaching demonstrations. Drinks and refreshments will be provided.

NOTE: This course is for those wanting to become and instructor and have a back ground in healthcare. Those without a healthcare background should register for Heartsaver Instructor. Students must hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association to be eligible to take this course. No other orginazations BLS card will qualify. Please call (205) 440-1000 with any questions. The course fee does NOT include materials needed to teach your first class (BLS videos, manikins, AED trainers, BVMs, and associated student supplies). You may choose to purchase these supplies from us for an additional fee.
